We don’t teach a language; we teach in a language!

Research and experience suggest that children who have a bilingual education have enhanced literacy skills in their first language as well as generally more highly developed thinking skills.

Many of our children leave us with highly developed skills in reading, writing and speaking Japanese, often at a standard equivalent to Year 9 or 10.

Our bilingual education provides our children with many unique opportunities and experiences developing not only a strong awareness of Japanese language and culture but also of global citizenship.

As one of only 11 bilingual schools in Victoria, Caulfield students receive a unique education.
