Bilingual Schools Network

Victoria's Bilingual Schools Network (BSN) is an informal network that houses numerous Communities of Practice consisted of principals, bilingual program leaders, and bilingual school teachers in Victoria.

Current members of the BSN include:

• Abbotsford Primary School — Chinese
• Aurora School — Auslan
• Bayswater South Primary School — German
• Brunswick South Primary School — Italian
• Camberwell Primary School — French
• Caulfield Primary School — Japanese
• Footscray Primary School — Italian
• Huntingdale Primary School — Japanese
• Lalor North Primary School — Greek and Macedonian
• Newlands Primary School — Spanish
• Richmond West Primary School — Chinese and Vietnamese

The BSN is aware of other Victorian schools engaged in the bilingual education space. While these schools do not receive DET's Designated Bilingual Program funding, they offer a range of bilingual and intensive Languages programs.
